cannot change SNMP settings through webgui

0 votes
I cannot change SNMP related configurations within the webGUI.

If I select "Configure SNMP Community Names by IP Address" I don't get an error, but the webpage never loads.  I can make changes to the xml.

If I "Configure SNMP Data Collection per Interface" (in the node admin) the page loads, but if I make changes using the drop downs it does not update the configuration.  On some interfaces the dropdown does not actually work.

Everything else within the web GUI works perfectly, it just seems to effect SNMP related configuration changes.

I can use a workaround to edit the snmp-configuration.xml, but I cannot work out how the make changes to the interface collection.

Hi tried to verify your issue with latest 19.1.0 and can't reproduce the problem and works for me as expected. Can you please report which browser and version you use? I don't have seen a problem with OpenJDK nor Oracle JDK. Probably the jetty.log or web.log could be a place to look at when you try to reproduce the error.

I managed to get to the bottom of this issue.  The problem was browser based.  The problems I saw was only experienced when using IE, when I used Firefox it was fine.
