How do I get the correct node label to show in node list?

0 votes
When I go to node list it shows all my switches and about 98% of them have the node label set correctly (the switch name) but there are about 6 nodes that just list them by their IP addresses. All the switches are setup the same and all have the same snmpv3 credentials. It just won't show the correct node label for those 6 switches. If I try to go to change node label then it just gives me an error saying the webui has encountered and error.

How do I get these last 6 switches to show the correct node label when I go to node list?

can you please describe how you added the nodes? Did you added them through Provisiond or through IP with the Discovery daemon?

I added them through the IP with the Discovery daemon. This is the exact same way I did it on the old system and they all came up fine. Like I said, it's all but 6 switches now on the new OpenNMS system.
