The users and groups are stored in /opt/opennms/etc/users.xml and related groups are stored in /opt/opennms/etc/groups.xml. I'm not sure what you mean by "admin dashboard", can you give me a link path if I misunderstood you here?

Actually I am using OpenNMS as a docker container. Even my postgres database is a container. Normally, I create users from the Web dashboard (the one that runs on default port 8980). However many a times if something goes wrong, we delete the container and spawn a new one. However , even though all the data is persisted in a data-container, our users for some reason are not saved. Hence we have to create the same users over and over again.
Hence I need to know where the users are stored. This would help me to persist in the data containers as well, so that next time We don't need to recreate users manually over and over again.
As I described above, the users are stored in /opt/opennms/etc/users.xml. If you run in a container you have to ensure to persist everything which is in /opt/opennms/etc.
