SNMP and Provisioning Requisitions

I have a set of Linux NTP servers that I Provisioned, and am unable to even get the SNMP interface to populate for the nodes. I am able to walk the servers from the OS no problem.  If I configure discovery I have no issues, SNMP works just fine.  If I add the nodes through a Requisition nadda.

This is a fresh install, and these are currently the only 2 nodes.

Have you configured the SNMP community in OpenNMS itself?

  1. Login as "admin"
  2. Menu "Admin" -> "Configure OpenNMS"
  3. In section "Provisioning" -> "Configure SNMP Community Names by IP Address"
  4. Set the SNMP community for the devices IP address (the one you tried on your console") in the section "Update SNMP Configuration"
  5. Click "Save Config"
Go back to the provisioning and synchronise again, hope this helps.
